Ladle Ghoulash 34,448
This is wild. The pro-wrestling demo in general is one that definitely skews more conservative and seeing this in that space shows that what folks are seeing unfolding in MN and across the country is absolutely moving the needle, pissing people off, and changing minds. Glad so many seem to finally be coming to. Edited 2 hours ago by Ladle Ghoulash We have forgotten our public MANNERS 5

Not the typical “wow this sucks this isn’t what I wanted” then proceeding to vote for the next republican candidate 2

Yeah this is one of those moments you start to see that that special state level election in Texas may not be an anomaly but evidence of a major voter backlash brewing. The AEW and pro-wrestling demo in general is one that definitely skews more conservative AEW has been pretty inclusive from its inception, which is cool. Nyla Rose (a transgender female wrestler) has been with them from the beginning, and was their 2nd Womens World Champion. Anthony Bowens is openly gay and has referenced so on-screen to cheers from the crowd, which is a huge contrast to how WWE historically portrayed gay characters as villains or comedic fodder. The CEO Tony Khan publicly banned Linda Hogan (ex-wife of Hulk Hogan, who was also banned) from ever coming to a show because of racist statements, and Tony has been vocally critical of WWE's partnership with the Saudi Arabian government in the aftermath of the Jamal Khashoggi murder. There are a handful of other instances I could list, but yeah, AEW is a really cool modern pro-wrestling company and product. I'm happy to have been watching them since they started in 2019. Ah, okay. My bad. I always perceived pro-wrestling as being more conservative and generalized based on that. Thanks for the info! Thanks for the info! Oh no worries at all! And understandable, since WWE, the number one pro-wrestling company in the world, is deeply in bed with the Trump administration. Grateful AEW exists as a high level alternative these days :') Plus the boys there are hot 🥵
