You know full well Gaga would be in support of anything that stops false imagery of her being shared. 

If it's malicious or being passed off as real then for sure. Clock it and I'll scrub it. If it's just a joke and very clearly fake, I'm not sure what the harm really is.

The harm is misrepresentation and confusion. 

Lots of fans, especially on Twitter but also on here too, are often mistaking AI content for real photos of Gaga - including even this one (which is insane but true).  

It just feels very intrusive I think for fans to be able to imagine and visualise Gaga (very realistically) in virtually any situation. It doesn't really matter if the situation is harmless or not; the harm comes from the misrepresentation and what that leads to. 

I think it would be nice to know that GGD is a safe haven where we're not going to be duped by fakes. I hate having to question every photo I see on Twitter; it is highly destructive to the fan experience. To not have to do that on GGD would make us an even more authoritative source for Gaga-related content. 

I can understand the extra burden it may place on mods but I would think the sharing of AI content would die down if it's quickly removed.

I mean, I see what you're saying and it's valid, you're not wrong, but I don't know that I'm personally willing to commit the time and effort it takes to squash fake pics when they aren't doing active harm (other than just being fake).

This place takes up enough of my bandwidth as it is, I don't know that I can add "removing jokes in case someone takes them seriously" on top of it  

The only thing I disagree with is that AI content would stop if we cracked down somehow. It's honestly here to stay and I don't wanna Sisyphusify myself
