Still upset this morning that she didn’t even mention or thank the fans in her speech who’ve stood by her all these years and who’ve made Mayhem and the tour the success it is. Words of affirmation have always been my love language so it hurts to not feel the love when you give an artist you love so much

I just watched a speech a few minutes ago, I'm sure she thanked fans and the audiences that go to her concerts. Can't remember which one, but it wasn't the pop vocal one

you're supposed to do your own research. And even then "reggaeton" and "latin-pop" are far from the only types of music made in Latin America (many genres I listed, just to exemplify) or by Latin people (Bruno comes to mind), can you now see the point we were trying to make earlier ?

Because you can't tell me this is not beautiful, and this is all, by definition, Latin music:

Oh, and I dare to say there are reggaeton classics out there. Like real good music. "Salió El Sol" by Don Omar is simply ugh. Reggaeton music can be great too (but I guess this would be another debate)

This is what pmo, they had the CEO of the GRAMMYs come out to talk about music and most of it was directed towards America’s history of black artists, then they brought out Cher and after her speech they had the host walk over and just sort of be like “here’s your lifetime award lol” then had her stay to present ROTY (which I was certain was going to Gaga) and then when Kendrick and everyone got up they were disrespectful af, spent half the speech talking about Cher’s hiccup thinking Luther Vandross won, then the producer with them who didn’t take off his sunglasses ignored Cher entirely and stood AWAY from her. Then to top it all off SZA ended on talking about God for no reason…

They made an entire segment that was about Cher about race and politics for literally no reason…

Like ngl the whole ceremony was a mess. The organisation, the host’s skills were HORRID, the consistent mentions of ICE and Trump (yes make the digs and jokes but like still GET ON with the ceremony), the amount of as breaks, then the whole ceremony being sponsored by an Anti Depressant that says it has true side effects of a stroke or even death….
