Then simply say you wouldn't listen to it. But it seems like the reason behind it is the language, because there's plenty of latin artists out there which never do reggaeton or urban. Natalia Lafourcade is the best example for that (imo)

there is a 15 year gap between her first pop album win and now beating out the newest hit girl, do you know how tough that is for a woman in pop? (I mean we laugh at Katy but that's kinda the normal route for aging pop stars, there have been others before her)

I'm just grateful she's still not only around but legit thriving, and also saying "she will never achieve this" "she will never do that" as if you know what the future holds is hilarious, like yall don't really learn from the past

God... I really wished Gaga won AOTY and I objectively think hers is better than DtMF but to hate a whole genre 😭 reggaeton/urban music is good music if done well just like pop music can be good or bad

Ngl the entire night was a disapointment for me regarding Gaga

 

#1 No major category win yet again. I knew there was a high chance she wouldnt win AOTY and SOTY but i admit i had small hopes for ROTY. Not shocked she didnt win any but i did have small hopes for at least one of the 3 main categories

 

#2 I did not like the performance very much at all personally. It seems many are liking it tho so im glad its not universally being seen as a bad one

 

#3 the speech were talking about. Its was very basic and not that deep tbh.

 

My main solace is that at least she won 2 more regular category grammys. Better than winning none!

Entire night a disappointment when she pulled THAT McQueen archive??? Like that’s a pull like no other. NOBODY is getting the okay for a piece like that and she not only did but *performed* in it, no less.
