idk why gaga didnt speak out about ice tonight on a platform that directly reaches the ppl that need to hear this  

yes she spoke out in japan but thats not the audience whos being directly affected by the murders happening in our country. we saw her speak out about trans rights last year, so idk why she didnt say anything when ppl are actually being killed

This IS a US awards show and black and latin categories make complete sense for the US. Those two demographics have a huge influence on American music trends…

I’m not sure but she confuses me a bit, like she did an interview saying pop stars can’t have time to be political cause they need to workout or something?

Of course some of these winners were good but Gags should have still won at least one more. Granted I don’t think any artist should like be sweeping all or most categories either. But some of these big categories were eye rolls or total virtue signaling to the “hot trend” of the moment. 
 

anyway happy she got some and a couple more adjacent or related.

He literally just finished the most successful world tour for a hip-hop artist ever. 

And as a general note (not directed at @darkgaga):

Y'all can be disappointed, but is it really necessary to go down the list of every popular artist working now and trash them? Its so tired and corny. Especially on a site dedicated to a woman known for preaching kindness and supporting people. 

Plus, SHE GOT AWARDED. And some of the same people freaking out about Gaga not getting AOTY this year were the same ones complaining about Beyoncé fans and their expectations last year.

Maybe she thought she would've had at least one more chance to speak about that... She should've got at least one more Grammy, she even changed her outfit

We also have to acknowledge that the Academy invited 4K+ members of the Latin wing to vote with the main ceremony. Definitely vote splitting with Kendrick and multiple rap albums, maybe some between Gaga & Bunny, and 4K+ votes likely going to Bunny from that wing. CEO definitely wanted it this way as Grammys try to diversify more each year to remain relevant. 

And of course she was stuck in the crosshairs again. I have a feeling she was #2 for AOTY each year she was nominated.
