It’s not completely surprising. Bad Bunny’s album has more critical acclaim, which is completely separate from the political climate. 
 

And the song categories tend to be popularity contests. Abracadabra did not have that much impact beyond pop fans. 

Hoping Gaga still has it in her to keep going and, eventually, release that big wow factor album once again.

Then we must release Telephone Part 2, which they’ve been teasing for the past months, as the new lead single for a new era. 

Hopefully the next era will slap everyone’s releases and sweep at least one major category.

Wasn't able to watch the Grammys, so just saw her performance. That Abracadabra performance had me FLOORED. I was NOT expecting that, but it was so visceral. That, to me, embodied the song. The mistress of mayhem, tortured by fame, robotically posing but also truly emoting her pain. That was absolutely breathtaking and a little uncomfortable to watch. WOW.
