Gaga and Beyoncé as "Thelma & Louise"

According to Deuxmoi, Gaga and Beyoncé were asked to play Thelma and Louise in a reboot directed by Jane Campion ("The Pianist"). Apparently Gaga accepted it, but Beyoncé declined the offer, so they're looking for a partner for Gaga.

This has been rumored for years because Jane Campion said she loved Gaga in HOG. I don't think there are any reasons to believe this is true. In any case if they end up working together I would much prefer an original script.

I haven't heard about this one. It's all over my instagram today lol the hive is pressed for some reason... maybe because Beyoncé can't act (III). 

I'm so tired of reboots and sequels no one asked for. I need Gaga to do an original non-musical part for a smaller studio with a character that isn't the love interest to a male protagonist who dies.

Id rather they make a new Guys & Dolls movie and let her be Adelaide since that was her dream role originally if she ever became a theatre actor.

Also this massively makes me question this person’s credibility because not only has this rumour been going for almost a decade. But it stems from the fact people like them in Telephone together and that’s it.

Telephone part 2 delusion again give it upppp  This has been a rumor since 2022/2023 and nothing has happened, nor has any major news outlet reported on such a project

Ridley Scott is also hyper critical of anything that uses his work as inspiration, I can’t imagine he’d be so easily swayed by the idea of a remake of one of his better films, let alone one that turns it into a musical
