Teletubby 156,442
“It’s my understanding that I was in the top 10 most listened-to artists overall in the US on Spotify in 2025, and last week and most days as well. My upcoming album, Bully, is currently one of the most anticipated pre-saves of any album on Spotify too. My 2007 album, Graduation, was also the most listened-to and streamed hip-hop album of 2025. This, for me, as evidenced by the letter, isn’t about reviving my commerciality. This is because these remorseful feelings were so heavy on my heart and weighing on my spirit.”

PartySick 166,613
I mean. He lowkey has a point. He sells regardless so he didn't have to promise to change to sell more. Still waiting to see how that change is gonna manifest itself though. ¡Seguimos aquí!

RochesterJoannster 3,730
That’s a very arrogant way to make a point. I see that he’s saying his music does well enough commercially that there is no need for “stunts”. But it just sounds arrogant from him.

Im absolutely not defending him in any way, and Im hesistant to believe hes changed, but.... Is there any way to say something like that without coming off arrogant? if you don't have something nice to say, be mean

Is there any way to say something like that without coming off arrogant? Probably Not. He could have started by just stating his intentions instead of doing a “last time I checked” type thing and boasting about his accomplishments in several sentences. That definitely would have helped in this situation. But I do think there would always be at least some kind of arrogance with any statement like that, regardless of the wording or situation. 1
Guillaume Hamon 6,767
Still weird he did right before the release. He's selling a lot indeed but will probably sell even more if he's back on big YouTube shows, TV shows, get Grammy noms again etc.
Kayi 2,929
He's a crackhead, his crew are awful people and he has paranoid episodes... I think it might be true, he wasn't fully aware of his psychosis. He was influenced by his disgusting MAGA friends and he was maybe a bit vulnerable to not realize it. What he said was terrible, and an apology doesn't erase what he said, but if he really wants to heal and if he stop being too much online... Then it would be a geniune apology. He also met the rabbi Pinto, a rabbi who's pretty influencial and respected. The rabbi forgave what he done. I think that if a wise Jewish spiritual figure thinks he should be forgiven; people should think about forgivance. Personally, I like when ppl grow and can think about their bad actions to be better ppl. In my peace era.
Roughhouse Dandy 12,554
Y'all are bothered but he's right. He's literally never been one to downplay his success or achievements, so why would anyone expect him to do so now? This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss. Especially one who has spoken out against that specific drug, and makes a point to keep it away from his creative spaces.
