Britney shares the same spot in my heart as Gaga, i've been fan of these two women for as long as i can remember. us brazilians don't have much opportunities to see our favorite international stars, so being there for Gagacabana was one of the best days of my life, and having that experience with my other fave would be more than a dream coming true.

but i don't see this happening at ALL.. both Gaga and Madonna brought complete pre-made structure that was used in other countries. i can't imagine Britney setting up a whole concert for one night only, when she hasn't been in a stage in 8 years.

the thing is, there's been talks of Shakira coming for the past weeks, but the internet response was not that great. they're using Britney's name for clout because everyone knows how big of a moment this comeback would be, and they want people to start booking their travels to Rio. but it's not happening i don't believe it

I can't understand how anyone with half a brain could think this could be true. Britney is SICK, she is a person with a SERIOUS mental illness, which her release from conservatorship has only exacerbated. That's a hard truth that few are willing to admit. I understand that her fans are desperate for something like this to happen. I understand that it must be very difficult to accept that the star you have worshipped all your life (to whom you have possibly dedicated your life) is professionally dead while still alive. I think that part of her fandom is aware of this and knows that the only relevance they can give Britney is by concocting fake news stories that somehow put her in the spotlight. But as painful as it is to say, and even more so to admit, Britney is far from being able to get on stage, even if it's at a karaoke bar. I hope I'm wrong and that one day she'll be able to perform again, but nothing seems to indicate a better prognosis for the poor girl.
