The legislation is symbolically named "Ley Gaga" to honor Mother Monster’s courage. Indeed, by sharing her 2017 Rock in Rio struggle, Gaga helped break the stigma in the country about fibromyalgia. Patients suffering from fibromyalgia now have guaranteed legal protection and social benefits across Brazil, even though being not ducking poor helps.
