It was Mayhem standard, no bonus tracks. Rock opera reworks everywhere. Closing bow song was CSTH. It was a very serious performance. They were giving litte time to fan service and the usual interactive moments. It was all vibe and atmosphere. No retake needed even tho they announced they would if they needed too. Everyone on that stage was performing their asses off.

Seconding this - was all very atmospheric and a very specific tone. Didn’t even really acknowledge the crowd until the very end. The set was GORGEOUS. Costumes were cunty, gothic funeral vibes. No dancers, no choreography, just her and the band absolutely tearing.

I've seen several people on Twitter say that it seemed like a goodbye/an end to MAYHEM. If that's the case, I don't think they'll release this until after the tour.

I just hope they give us a date sooner than later... I'd rather wait for a known date than just be clueless until like 2 days before it gets released on streaming. Especially with how amazing this sounds... I don't want to wait in the complete darkness for it!

What was her hair like? Any wig changes?

Just sang DWAS over this myself (in a lower tempo) and it really works perfectly! The moment I sang “world” the chorus in the song started as well and the synths gave it such an euphoric feeling.

I was up in the mezzanine, so it was harder to see the exact hair style, but no wig changes to my knowledge. Long white hair, with a veil for the majority of the show. Could be wrong tho - anyone who was closer to the stage will correct me I’m sure.

This live was absolutely the best thing I’ve got to witness live from her. I love the genre. Her Tik Tok post to Sextile was a hint for sure. You can tell her and the band had fun with this. This performance definitely gave a collab between her and the band. They were vibing.

Oh this is actually amazing news. Mayhem is such a strong record, I'd be perfectly fine with her "just" putting new emphasis on the material instead of adding a 5-6 songs to the era - I always have a hard time to connect to too many songs 😅

hope we get the visual recording soon and maaaaaybe a rerelease of Mayhem: Requiem for streaming with new arrangements/the live vocals mastered.

It was amazing and literally what I wanted from her. Tracklist start to finish (no bonus songs). Mayhem was reworked as Industrial, gothic rock, heavier electronic rock, and some dark/synthwave. As someone who is into goth and industrial music, this is finally Gaga doing her version of it but not as poppy as she typically does. Personally this is her finally going into it head first and EMBRACING IT.

 

I didn’t get grunge like the rumors said but she finally leaned into actual industrial. The interludes/breaks in between were super industrial. 
 

her outfits were like medieval gothic, but fashion. She was like a nun/abbess, a gothic bride, and she had like black harness/armor at the end (the helmet looked like a black version of the paparazzi helmet from the tour)
 

The stage was a destroyed cathedral which I guess could be just a nod of it being a destroyed opera house from the tour since the stage is on fire and burning during bad romance on the tour. It was so cool!

Blade of Grass is my favorite on the album and I’ll die on that hill. Live, she added some more darker instrumentals and it sounded SOMBER but in a good way. It very much sounded like a goth ballad.

The set was phenomenal! The outfits were amazing. It was so gothic and cunty. Everything I’ve wanted from Gaga, and she finally did it!
