THIS ALBUM IS NO WAY close to the highs of TF TFM BTW AP or JOANNE sorry It kills me that you just keep posting these But also 100% agree on your last one. I think BR as an individual song is exceptional. As an album opener with the context of the record and story it’s trying to tell, I think Aura does a better job. I’d put MTN just a hair behind Disease. At the end of the day, mama really knows how to open an album and any of them could easily be a justified favorite. Diamond Heart is also a top 3 opener but you're not ready for this conversation The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic! Reid LePage 4,926
This album isn't the darkga era people act like it is. I do love it, but it feels hollow in substance. I think it was just her ticking all the boxes that people wanted from a Gaga album, which is why it was praised so heavily and she finally gave us her brunette hair moment. Lyrically speaking, imo, Mayhem is her weakest. Every single era including Joanne and her originals on Harlequin had darker moments. The strongest element of this album are the instrumentals, choreo and performances we've gotten.
Melbourne Monster 142
Garden of Eden should have the choir DJ HIT THE LIGHTS opener like it does as part of the Mayhem Ball Kill For Love should have made the standard edition replacing Don’t Call Tonight Happy Mistake makes more sense on Mayhem than Harlequin

gaganewyork 52
also, Blade of Grass should have been swapped for Can't Stop the High (CSTH on main and BOG as a bonus track)
GagaUnderYou 5,008
Killah is the most overrated song in the fan base currently. This is the only skip on Mayhem for me. Don’t Call Tonight deserves its flowers. 1

warhol killah 8,743
If it was Zombieboy instead of The Dead Dance as the Wednesday track I feel like it would have been higher on the charts - considering if Zombieboy wasn't released during the album release. The album cover is a let down considering the visual masterpiece of her last cover for Chromatica, and some of the alternate covers do not deserve to be an alternate, like this one: Edited Friday at 12:04 PM by warhol killah a GAGA sound fanatic ✴ graphic design
