Yeah, the administration is trying to reframe it, but it still needs to be investigated and brought to court. Unfortunately, the administration is trying to stonewall internal investigations and it’s going to need to be done from the outside. DHS policy (the department that ICE operates under) makes it pretty clear that what he did was not a justifiable use of lethal force (and, imo, the most damning piece of evidence is that he upholstered his gun before placing himself right in front of her car, which suggests that he fully intended to use his weapon). An anti-maga youtuber I watch (who is a trial lawyer) says that the videos alone are enough for a grand jury to indict for murder. He is talking about a case being taken by the state, which Trump and the feds could do nothing to stop. Note also that Minneapolis is the city in which George Floyd was murdered, and this case will land on the desks of the same people who put Derek Chauvin behind bars for Floyd's murder.
