I did think she must be exaggerating. I'm sure I've seen Miley dealing with paper multiple times throughout her career and it doesn't make sense that she would have been able to live a functional life if her phobia was as bad as she claimed here. You literally have to do so much with paper all the time, including important stuff like signing documents, things she will have definitely done as an independent adult and she's literally a songwriter. Even the rolling paper comment was weird, saying that she's ok with that because her hands aren't dry when she uses them - why would you have wet hands when rolling blunts? And it's alright because you lick the paper...but you're using your hands to hold it? If this really has been going on her whole life and is as severe as it is, there's no way we would have just started hearing about it now. I don't know. I almost feel like it's a little quirk she has and once she got started talking about it, she just couldn't stop and took it too far because she liked Jimmy's fascination and the crowd reaction. Just all-round bizarre.
