The gag if this becomes her first semi-hit since Harley's in Hawaii and Never Really Over. :billie:

I guess throwing stuff until something lands may really pay off if you try hard enough.

God I hate Christmas music and its ubiquity during this time (with a very few exceptions)

Is this that irritating I don't need diamond or sparkly things song I hear on the radio every Christmas :neyde:

The only song of hers I've heard on the radio in years...

Man her career is such an enigma it just doesn't make any sense. It's like she's kind of fumbled her way through being an almost main pop girl for the past 16 years. She's had some really good songs along the way and some real huge misses (especially) recently and it's like she struggles to just not quite get to the top of the charts. Everyone knows who she is, but she just isn't quite a main pop girl. She gets close, then stumbles. She's like Taylor Swift if she just kept dropping the ball right before getting a hit

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

In all fairness, a Christmas song actually has a higher chance of surpassing your regular songs because it'll get rotation every festive season whereas regular songs can be very of their time and people can move on from them even if they were big hits upon release. Look at Mariah, Wham and all these other acts who have landmark Christmas hits - usually they're their biggest hit of all time because people love it every year without fail and new generations pick it up. Which is why I so want Gaga to venture into original Christmas music, even if it's just one song, so she's relevant every December, no matter where her career goes.
