DK Metcalf (Normani's fiancé) suspended 2 games without pay for altercation with fan

DK Metcalf has been suspended for two games after getting into an altercation with a fan during Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. 
 

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday that the league suspended Metcalf, who can appeal, without pay.  He is scheduled to miss the game against the Cleveland Browns on Dec. 28 and the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 4.  It will cost him a total of $277,778 per game, $555,556 total for the two games

The NFL suspended the wide receiver for what it called "conduct detrimental to the NFL for initiating a physical confrontation with a fan during Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions," according to Schefter. 
 

During the first half of Sunday's game at Ford Field, Metcalf was seen on camera getting into an apparent altercation with a fan during a commercial break.

Ryan Kennedy, the Detroit Lions fan involved in the altercation with Metcalf on Sunday, "categorically denies using the 'N-word,' the 'C-word' or any racial, misogynistic, or hate-based language during the incident," according to a statement obtained by ESPN from the Michigan law firm representing the fan.  

The Free Press reported that Kennedy said Metcalf became upset when he used his full name, DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf.
