LG2008 5,929
The way she constantly contradicts herself is beyond Maybe she should stop with that... it feels performative

PartySick 164,366
It's cute, honestly. The kid said he wanted to dress her and now he has. Imagine being 12 and having Billie Eilish sell your design on her site Hope he stays pure and the money ends up going to charity in some way. I'd love to know how the profits break down. 30 minutes ago, artdoll said: Am I reading that right? A 12 year old wants to charge me $115 for a hoodie? Well, a 39 year old charged me $130 for a hoodie and then ditched before the show 'cause her throat hurt costing me a further several hundred dollars, nearly a grand actually, for literally no reason Merch is always overpriced, I fear. And people are gonna be quick to call Billie out for an iota of hypocrisy but honestly? Hypocrisy is just the risk you run when you decide to say what needs to be said. A woman calling out billionaires despite being worth $100 million (20% of which she gave to charity) is supposedly worse than a woman being worth $2 billion and saying nothing. A woman calling out predatory sales tactics and wasteful consumerism while producing recycled vinyls is worse than a woman filling landfills with trash and robbing her fans blind. A woman deciding to call out injustice while enjoying the luxuries of fame is worse than a woman using a private jet to go through the Starbucks drive thru. Your silent faves can't be hypocrites 'cause they don't stand for anything in the first place Billie is peak and the bitterness some gays feel towards her is proof of that tbh. (Not you, miss Doll, Melanie f*cks and I still get shivers thinking about 54,000 of us in that room screaming "free Palestine" with her ) 🥀 10 3

Even my favorites aren't immune to criticism. I've said it here before and I'll say it again, even Gaga's merch is overpriced and that's coming from someone who has probably a dozen (if not more) Gaga tees and a plethora of her CD's, among other merch. Unfortunately this has seemingly become a very common practice. I understand a majority of what artists income is comprised of comes directly from merchandise and touring, but I can, and will, voice my distaste for an OK quality article of clothing costing an arm and a leg. 。゚☁ glued up, sometimes it's too much ☁ ゚。

Gaga's merch is so overpriced and usually terrible quality Though, I do adore this $130 hoodie I got at TMB in Miami. No concert, but I did get a durable and high quality jacket Only took her 20 years to find a merch team that's worth a damn 🥀 1

I'm happy to hear about the hoodie being nice quality though! Something about Miami and Gaga are a cursed combo. 。゚☁ glued up, sometimes it's too much ☁ ゚。

I think it's just a yucky place that artists shouldn't visit anymore. Orlando is much nicer Even freaking Tampa is nicer 🥀

And then the aftermath of that fan defending her by getting into a fight with the one who grabbed her. It still amazes me the audacity some people possess. Hopefully that experience didn't taint her view of the place. I can't say much about the other cities cause I haven't really been there but Miami is definitely a piece of work. 。゚☁ glued up, sometimes it's too much ☁ ゚。
