Let’s not try to rewrite history. The singles were passable the rest of the album is a slog.

Her most successful song of the last decade maybe? is Harleys In Hawaii and it's much more mature and chill than what she usually does, same for the music video. She needs to finally understand that people are bored of her having the same sound since 15 years now. I mean she doesn't have anything to lose commercially, she doing so bad lately So yeah at least try something different and creative, who cares if it tanks or not

But she doesn't. I have zero belief she can make a come back tbh, she's got no artistry in all honesty. And the only way she could make a comeback is if she came with a product that really said something about her/her career/the world etc. but she did reliably sold a $136 MILLION-GROSSING tour. so what now?

Exactly why I say her best bet is to be a legacy act. The issue is, that only has long term potential for good vocalists. So she needs to up her game.

She sold that much while allegedly having "no live vocals" and "no artistry". This tour is 17 years into her career mind you. so that addresses your point about "long term". just say you hate her and move on Edited 3 hours ago by Fish

If the $136 million gross is correct, then that underperforms her highest selling tour which was over a decade ago. The Prismatic world tour grossed $204.3million at the time, adjusted for inflation that's $270.62 million. The Witness tour grossed $124.2 million, which adjusted for inflation is $160.2 million. So her sales figures proves her sales are going in reverse and doing so at a time when live music tickets and overall tour gross reports are the highest they've ever been. She didn't even sell out the tour. So no, my point stands. Her career has gone into reverse. She's selling less, she's charting less.
