I love MJH too but I have a preference for Brooklyn Nights, it’s easier to listen to

Could see a recent version going mid tempo, more vocal, more instrumental (with electric guitar, piano) and so soft electronics. Getting rid of the autotune from the demo.

Like Vanish Into You vocals meeting The Beast instrumental type. Watt and Cirkut could do amazing on this one (and Princess Die) I just know it

If we don’t get a studio version of this on Total Mayhem (or whatever you’d like to call it) I don’t get the point of this teasing.

Also if we do rly hope it’s gonna be this rock ballad version like she performed it here.

I totally agree! That said, I love the fact that Brooklyn Nights has that typical ARTPOP sound, it could be on no other record with the same arrangement

To be real she teased other throwback stuff from the past too (Princess Die, Telephone sequel, Frankenstein). I wouldn't mind that kind of legacy project especially is she's about to take a break from shows after MAYHEM.

Just because she performed it doesn’t mean she’s teasing anything

Especially with her speech before the song + the fact that she barely rehearsed it as she keeps staring at the sheet music
