But it does have everything to do with Paul Dano. He may not have been behind the visual and thematic design of the character, but it's down to his acting in the end of the day that brought this character to life.

Yes, you've made that very clear 

He can ****-talk all he want, we sure do on this website. At least he knows what he's talking about. Could he have worded it better? Definitely. But he has every right not to enjoy an actor's work and be honest about it. This doesn't warrant throwing all the mistakes he might've done in his life to his face.
