Ariana Grande calls her ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour the ‘Last Hurrah’

Ariana Grande said in an interview on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast that the trek will be a one-time event, with no plans for future tours.

“The last 10 or 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up,” Grande told Poehler. “I don’t want to say anything definitive. I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time. I’m going to give it my all and it’s going to be beautiful. I think that’s why I’m doing it because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah!’”

The “Eternal Sunshine” Tour kicks off on June 6 in Oakland, Calif., and makes stops across the country in cities including Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston and more, before wrapping up in North America in Chicago on Aug. 5. She will go on to perform a string of 10 shows in London.

Iirc, either is grammatically correct. Its a matter of British English vs American English.

Listening to the episode rn and she literally follows up that comment with never say never and that it’s just going to be a long break and she is excited to come back to touring/music after putting it down for a little while, because that feeling is re-invigorating. I hate podcast headlines, they’re always taken out of context.

man, I can't travel for this show/couldn't get tickets lmao + my SWT date got cancelled (I was and am still torn up over this bc I wanted to go to the Nashville stop but the family I was going with wanted the other date that got cancelled)...IM SO BUMMED but I do understand her of all celebs not being keen to tour

I have to say Gaga gives us so much compared to lots of these others. Ariana hasn’t done a tour since 2019 and only released one album since 2020 and she’s already saying she’s taking a break from pop.

Goes without saying that I respect her decision to do whatever the hell she wants, just merely pointing out we can’t always complain about Gaga.
