I always wonder why people look down on Latin music, as if rappers in the USA don't just swear. Songs I recommend listening to by Bad Bunny: Lo Siento BB :/, Callaita, Baile Inolvidable, Ojitos Lindos, Andrea, and ABOVE ALL "dtmf".

Latín grammys are a joke tho 

they always give away awards to popular artists more than actually good music 

and they do it way more than american grammys

Just because pop fans who go to GGD are not exposed to or recomended his music doesnt mean it wasnt successful. We have numbers to prove his era was pretty massive

 

Edit: The internet really is a personal taylored bubble at this point, not at all like internet in 2010. Unless someone is as huge as Taylor Swift that manages to penetrate everything no matter what, it is very difficult to tell what is popular and isnt based on your experience online alone. You really need to look at some numbers to really actually know.

I mean this was very expected and any other result would’ve been an upset.
 

He did kinda underperform in other GF categories as he lost all of them. That in a way is a good thing because it shows he has no real pull to win either ROTY or SOTY at the Grammys. 

The AOTY doesn’t really increase or decrease his shot at the American AOTY. Latinos will still vote for him regardless of the outcome at the Latin Grammys
