Spotify Wrapped 2025 is looming, and one of the best music streaming services has just dropped the ideal warm-up to the music recap event of the year – say hello to listening stats, offering new insights to your weekly listening habits.

Rolling out now to Free and Premium users in over 60 global markets, the new listening stats feature shows your top artists and songs from the past four weeks in your homepage sidebar. Your stats update every 24 hours, and will offer new recommendations based on your listening behaviors.

As well as being able to view your top artists and songs in real time, you’ll also find new playlists based on what you’ve been listening to recently. Spotify has also shared that each week you’ll get what it describes as a ‘special highlight’, which could be anything from a milestone, a new discovery, or a fact about your personal listening habits.

In its blog post announcing the new feature, Spotify says it’s "always finding new ways to bring you closer to the music that moves you, turning sound into something personal. From the playlists that match your mood to the tracks that take you back, your story unfolds one song at a time, wherever you are," adding that "it’s all about exploring your unique music taste and maybe uncovering something new along the way, just like you do with Spotify Daylist, Release Radar, and Discover Weekly".

At the moment you can’t view your minutes listened in the new stats tab, but it’s still early days. Spotify tends to build on new features over time, so could be that Spotify is planning on adding this at a later date – we reached out to Spotify for more info, and it says it’ll keep us informed on any feature updates.

Very cool but even with all the stats other sites have when granting access to your Spotify account, you'd think they'd provide more information for your listening habits than just 4 weeks at a time top artists and songs and some similar songs...

This is nice but when are they going to make their shuffle mode truly randomized? I hate how the algorithm makes it not so random. I miss iTunes because the shuffle mode was actually random

How cool, but they really needed to remove being able to pick songs freely on the free version :Cautious:

Was reading my signature a mistake?

Apple is been doing something similar since the past year, when you scroll to the bottom you will see the Replay page and it will show you a monthly version of the 'wrapped' with your most listened artists, songs, albums and genres in the past month

Especially when Apple Music gives you access to replay all year
