Interesting, I wonder if in the future, spooky/scary songs will have more and more streams on Halloween, a bit like Christmas songs

This year there were already 5 songs in the Top 10 Daily Global Spotify Charts on Halloween day. Last year it was only 2 in the Top 10. 2023 none were in the Top 10 (highest ones were #12, #15, #16 in the Top 20).

So yeah, the impact on Halloween Songs is increasing every year but not to that extend as for Christmas songs.

Red

I am trying to believe that the world is healing but then I see the other 9 songs on top 10 and it's tough

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

The message labls should take from this: release more dark music

The message they will take: release music for every holiday; make Easter music, Memorial Day music, Independence Day music, Labor Day music...

Depends how the labels choose to play it.

Its worth noting that despite the impact of streaming on the charts - this is the first time its happend since 1984. Where as Christmas songs have been doing it consistently for years
