Aww that made me tear up. Gaga used to get so emotional when things like this happened, even when her childhood dog died she was so depressed. I know she adored her grandmother so it’s interesting to see Gaga be less emotional than in the past. Perhaps you just get better a dealing with grief as you age? Or perhaps having Michael as a support system helps her cope?

Honestly the thing that struck me about this video was how gracefully she seemed to handle grief of the song. The performance felt like a celebration of her grandmother’s life and her family, which was beautiful to see

"My father's mother"

God I hope she adds this song to the setlist properly. I have three chances to see it again, I'll dehydrate from crying :fatcat:

I think it's her healing. I've experienced it too that your sadness can sometimes amplify certain emotions. Since she is in a much better place now, she is able to handle it better. I'm so happy that she is doing better now.

I feel like we are back to where she was with The Edge of Glory where she is able to find happiness in sad things again.

Ashley

I saw a comment saying her grandmother is finally reunited with Joanne  That was a beautiful performance to honor her.
