Honestly, MJ's people released a Halloween album with all his spooky songs. Gaga could 100% do the same thing if she wanted, she's clearly the most celebrated modern/living artist for the season.

Imagine the remixes, mini-era, a music video for Bloody Mary that ties into Abracadabra/Mayhem somehow, it could be great

Idk what meaningful impact you guys expect or think people are expecting tho. I don’t think anyone expected BM or TDD to be number one or something especially because of competition from the older songs (Thriller, Monster Mash, etc.), but this year definitely cemented the impact Halloween has on her discography as a whole 

I think some of you mistake people’s wishful thinking as serious delusion or actual expectations. Can’t we just enjoy that our queen is THE Queen of Halloween and not argue about whether or not the boost is “as big as people thought” or if it proves people “right” or “wrong”.

A 14 year old song charting top 20 on global Spotify because of a specific holiday is a huge, meaningful boost. You can quite literally look at BM’s streams increasing on Halloween year to year and see how it’s increasing popularity each Halloween snowballs into further impact the next year

Many of us were saying thats a myth and the halloween boost effect is being over blown. The effect is generally for songs that already have been hits in the past that are associated with the season and not for barely semi-hits that barely took off. And even for the classics the major boost is for a short period of time not the entire month

 

The criticism was always in that context. The comment made felt very directed at trying to disprove that side of the debate（given thats the only context it was ever debated) and if thats the case im pointing out a major boost for some classics for a short time doesnt prove a month long end boost is a thing, and we have proof TDD did not take off from it either...

And, where are these supposed claims - of TDD shooting to the top of global charts for the entirety of October - being made? 

Yesterday was Halloween, and TDD surged back into the top 100 of Spotify and Apple Music, while rising to a new peak in total AI on US Radio, and hitting #8 on HAC Radio. 

If that can’t be considered a “boost,” I’m just not sure what we’re talking about any more. Why do her own fans put so much effort into finding new ways of downplaying any success she has? “Semi hits,” “solo hits,” “no movie hits,” “no performances hits,” blah blah blah.

A suggestion to Interscope, give Lady Gaga the budget to make Bloody Mary music video, it is basically her Thriller/All I Want For Christmas Is You and this has been confirmed since 2024, so making a video would not hurt anyone.

They could release Bloody Mary MV on October 1, 2026 so people can feel the spooky season as early as October 1st & the whole October could be Halloween month instead of just a day/Oct 31st.

Also, since Gagaween hype is locked with Abracadabra & The Dead Dance getting boosted... Zombieboy MV October 2, 2026. The Queen of Halloween throne will be hers forever.

But this is only a dream considering Interscope did not even release Abra & TDD physicals

I don't ever see them investing in a full music video, but maybe archive footage from the BTW ball or JWT.
