Designers sketch their suggestions for Taylor Swift’s wedding dress

Some fashion houses, including Eras Tour collaborators Roberto Cavalli & Alberta Ferretti were asked to sketch their suggestions for Swift’s bridal wares by WWD

“For Taylor, I imagined a bridal look where Sicilian artistry meets Nashville Western spirit. The gown combines delicate Sicilian macramé lace with the sparkle of turquoise stones and crystal filigree,” Fausto Puglisi, creative director of Roberto Cavalli and wardrobe collaborator of Swift’s, said of his bridal proposition for her. “A poetic fusion of my Mediterranean roots and her DNA. I wanted to celebrate both worlds: the passionate craftsmanship of Italy and the free, romantic energy of American music.”



“I envisioned Taylor in a couture reinterpretation inspired by the roots of Sardinian tradition. A tribute to the craftsmanship and feminine strength that have always defined this heritage, translated into a contemporary, pure, and sophisticated vision,” designer Antonio Marras, who has dressed the artist many times. “The dress is crafted in a milky tone, featuring a monumental, pleated skirt made entirely by hand: micro-pleats sewn and pressed over months, inlaid with lace inserts that create a sculptural sense of lightness. The structured corset with boning and the embroidered cotton shirt converse between rigor and romance, while the veil and filigree details reinterpret traditional jewelry in an essential key. A balance between roots and modernity, between memory and desire.”

these are all stunning, i am so glad that in tandem with her new album we get to  finally have a celebrity wedding to look forward to i rly feel like we haven’t been this excited since britney was engaged to kevin

LBR Taylor will love larger than life dress for the big day. She knows  all eyes will be on her. I would think she would do like a dress with 50 feet of train like Lady Diana and Mariah Carey does. What screams traditional femininity other than a big wedding gown with trains that makes a woman realize their princess for a day fantasy?!

I think it depends on what kind of wedding she's having.  It will probably be a private family/friends with maybe 1000 guests.

I kind of hope she attention whores the hell out of it, she should get married at St. Paul's Cathedral in London and wear the exact same dress Princess Diana wore and make the whole day shameless and hopefully offensive.

I also hope you can tell that she's secretly writing the divorce album where she destroys the entire Kelce family and calls out guests who brought stupid or cheap gifts.
