If I remember correctly, Kim stated that she wanted to do another volume of TOTL but her label said no and instead pushed her to do another Slut Pop record which is how Slut Pop Miami came about.

I believe she said this on Twitter and then immediately deleted the tweets(?)

yeah, and I kinda feel Slut Pop Miami was inspired by someone with the name "Ayesha Erotica" (look at the song titles and content. But Ayesha still is original)

I don't care what the numbers or record label say, she really is in her element right now. All 3 singles from this era have been A+. It's so clear she's a pop music fan, she really understands how to make a KILLER pop song.
