Purrrrrr 18,582
both incredible but i think i have to go with DWAS when i witnessed shallow atTCB though it was insane Meow
Guest
I love them both, but Shallow is just so magical to me.
AVeryGagaHolyDick 32,496
Shallow is better as a song, but Die is better as a whole recording if that makes sense. Like Shallow has a better melody and much better lyrics, but the SOUND (her live Dope vocals + the mixing) make it sound like it was engineered by my ass. The overall SOUND of Die is much better but the lyrics aren’t as good and the melody is slightly weaker

Anderson123 43,013
Both amazing and some of her best ever but gotta vote for Die With A Smile right now. Bruno and Gaga's voices compliment each other so well and the structure of the song works better -for me-. Shallow is great but feels like it takes a bit longer to explode and then finishes a bit earlier than expected.
ActualPatient 2,516
Shallow starts too slow and my friends would skip it when we're on a long car ride because it makes them sleepy before they even realize it's the ohhh AAAuuggghhhAAAAhhh AAHhh AHAAuuuguhhAAA song by lady gaga. DWAS has never been skipped. If symptom persists, consult your doctor.
FFXIV WhiteMage 6,365
Shallow for me but both are timeless classics and globally successful. But ARUTW clears both of them

Sarah H 4,492
Both are great, but for me it has to be Shallow.
Lord Mayhem 3,733
Shallow is lowkey annoying to listen to...its abrasive and a slow burner to an unnecessarily loud chorus DWAS has soul, blues, psychedelic vibes...much easier to listen to and a much better melody
