This really needs to happen. She's so long overdue to win Album of the Year :oohrightthereyeah:

Fun fact: If Mayhem gets nominated for Album of the Year this year, Gaga will become the third most-nominated female artist in that category, with five albums — just behind Barbra Streisand (6) and Taylor Swift (7).

And she deserves it! MAYHEM is definitely album of the year because it not only is musically brilliant and wonderfully produced, but the energy she has had in the album and while performing it/talking about it in interviews only emphasizes the authenticity and excitement of it!

I feel like it is her first "gaga-sounding" album that has really attracted new fans and gotten great response from the GP. So many of my friends who previously didn't like her or didn't really care, LOVE songs off this album and have talked so highly of her. People aren't seeing her as weird or too out there anymore, and really respecting her as an artist

The Mayhem Ball has got to be part of the Grammy push. We know probably almost the entire academy attended it so we have great chances.

It feels like a GNX year, but ofc I'd love to see MAYHEM win it. Both deserve their flowers

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

I would love for it to win. However, I think both Kendrick and Bad Bunny are helped by their very high profile Super Bowl performances. And Bad Bunny, in particular, will no doubt have a ton of press in the months of voting. I think the more he becomes and emblem of protest, the stronger his chances become. Gaga is a career artist at her peak and there's a strong case for that. But I do think Bad Bunny will eclipse the media conversation and probably win in the end.

Sorry but that scenario is probably great for Gaga. Kendrick is an absolute force and in no scenario does he not pull a ton of votes, so the more votes Bad Bunny pulls from him the stronger Gaga’s chances get. Ultimately the Grammys also have tons of voters that flat-out won’t vote for a rap album or non-English album, so Gaga sweeping up all those votes while the two rappers battle it out is her path to the crown.

4th Time Around

2025 has been a terrible year for mainstream pop music. Mayhem is the only logical choice.

I love that they also said “she should win”

Who Should Win?

Lady Gaga, Mayhem
Gaga leaned hard into her own history on Mayhem, a record many considered a return to her dance-pop roots. She turned her own name into a chorus on “Abracadabra,” got macabre at the club in “Disease,” and brought it all to vivid life with a career-defining Coachella performance earlier this summer. It’s her time.

MAYHEM absolutely deserves AOTY. The response from the public and fans solidifies that imo
