You will have a looooong night! The opening of the Gotthardtunnel kinda revolutionised traffic and the Alps are no longer a major obstacle they once were. Yes, it's outside of tourist season and at night it's not crowded, so it will be fast By the way, right now they are discussing in several German-speaking cantons to shift French from middle school to high school as kids have become worse in nearly all subjects. In none of the cantons (except for Graubünden) is Italian a mandatory foreign language at schools, instead it is always French and kids don't even have a choice between French and Italian, neither in Luzern. I always felt this was one-sided and unfair towards Italian and that there should be a choice between French & Italian. After the Gotthardtunnel opening, Milano basically became the closest largest super metropolis to Switzerland, while Paris is more distant, and many Swiss people prefer to go to Italy than to France. Your post makes me one more time realize how Milano has a bigger impact on Switzerland more than anything in France. Oriane 21,177 Posted yesterday at 06:20 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:20 PM I know the road is not that long but I'd recommend to stay at a hotel afterwards, concerts are very exhausting, especially if it's Gaga and you're going to sing and dance the whole night, you're going to want to go to bed as fast as possible after that. I noticed that Italian is less used here, sometimes not even exist on website as a different language. I did drove to Paris 2 years ago to Disneyland and it was not so bad. My husband and I like to drive trips, we always go down to north Italy for his family by car with the dog.. it's like 10 hours trip but it's pretty fun. So to do this trip for Gaga and back it's not a challenge or something 1 hour ago, Oriane said: I know the road is not that long but I'd recommend to stay at a hotel afterwards, concerts are very exhausting, especially if it's Gaga and you're going to sing and dance the whole night, you're going to want to go to bed as fast as possible after that. it would have been a good idea but my husband needs to teach the day after at 8:30 am lol So it's either to start the trip back at around 11:30 pm or at 3-4am So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
