Halsey was literally not aloud to make an album because she was not doing Taylor Swift numbers according to her recent interview. 

I wonder what this album would bring to the pop landscape, I know she is pumped up cuz her last album was snubbed and had mixed reviews. She always use that as an opportunity to dominate for the next album.

 yeah she does she seems to be a good songwriter and can play instruments, but when it comes to vocals and dancing I'm not impressed (I don't need dancing itself but she doesn't do either well). I find her massively overhyped considering how bland she is. But I guess she can appeal to anyone
