Well, she just released her first record of new material in 11 years today - Better Broken. https://www.sarahmclachlan.com/discography/better-broken/ The first three singles - Better Broken, Gravity, Reminds Me - are delightful, but the rest of the album really shines. I'm struck by The Last to Go, Long Road Home, If This is the End...Rise, Wilderness, Only Way Out are also lovely. This album also feels like poetry (specifically like an ode to nature). Themes of empowerment, current events, heartache, love, longing, and assertiveness all emerge here. And the sound is fresh and funky, but still very Sarah. (The iTunes review does a great job of summarizing the album, too) Not sure if anyone else is a Sarah (and/or Lilith Fair) fan on here, but wanted to share in case ya'll didn't know or would like to chat about it Have a great weekend!
