Trump hints at cancelling TV licenses to those who oppose him

President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested that the federal government might revoke the licenses of broadcast television networks that are "against" him.

Trump's comment came a day after ABC suspended airing the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show because of comments its host made linking the alleged killer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to Trump's MAGA movement.

Mind-boggling that people voted for (and continue to support) someone with a ego so fragile that he can't even hear criticism without lashing out and trying to silence people "against" him... it truly baffles me that anyone looks at him and thinks "yea, he has qualities of a good leader".

I think that americans dont realize that their democracy IS collapsing very fast, or maybe they're in denial. But ever since I read project 2025 and Iooked closely at the things that were being said during the GOP rallies in 2024, all that after january 6th, it was just a matter of time for the US to become an authoritarian regime the second trump got elected again. Yall should prepare for any eventuality in the next months and I'm not kidding

I want to say that a good amount of us realize... but a larger amount is either in denial and misinformed/uneducated on the actual issues- and often stuck in their own ways and refusing to even try and gain a better understanding.

It is scary for those with the appropriate awareness because watching what is happening is like watching somebody drown under ice and not being able to break the ice and get them. It feels very helpless and so a lot of people have also started giving up hope and stopped caring as much.

I think because day to day life didn't change that much yet for majority of citizens it's doesn't feel real 

Also for me, I see what's happening but I don't even know what to do to prepare
