President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously to conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in Utah on Wednesday.

Trump made the announcement during remarks at the Pentagon to commemorate the 9/11 attacks.

Didnt everyone here kinda celebrate it and joked about it? And everyone that did not were attacked! I did not engage because I was sad about peoples reaction. 

I dont think Progressives are violent at all, but I think everyone who feel entitled that their violence is good is the problem. Yes progressives are good, but not good enough, which is why the progress they want to see will take hundrend's of years. Progressives are politically good, but philosophically and in their personal life, they are just as bad/good as the rest of the world.

I also feel indifferent now, but at first I cried, then I felt he deserved it, but then I meditated on it based on my values. I think its important to point out that he built a legacy on the expense of us, and he died an evil man. But there is a way to say this without saying whatever I red yesterday on that thread.

On this topic, five Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have received threats of violence today. The motives are currently unknown, but widely believed to be in response to the assassination yesterday.

Political violence is never the answer. That being said, the amount of Maga nutjobs that have attempted to kill or cause harm to Democratic electees has sored in the past few years. The only case that got mild attention was Pelosis husband getting attacked.

You cant normalise extremist values and language and not expect it to hit you right back in the face.
