I agree it’s way less exciting to see the same stage cover and over again, but that’s the only way she could do the VMAs this year, it was either that or just another show without the VMAs  and The Dead Dance part is brand new

You can tell her voice is still weakened, she dodged the highest notes during the chorus letting the track take over quite a bit, even not singing at all at times. It's the smart thing to do in a situation like this, though I fear people will hold it against her when this performance is aired, saying she is lipsynching the higher parts.

I did not know she was doing Abra, and I dont consider Dead Dance part of Mayham, its a soundtrack song added to the album to push stream.

Was it planned to be released as a single on Mayham before Tim approached her? My theory is it was left out of the album and not meant to be on it, but when approached by Wednesday, she gave them the song?

The season 2 was filmed in 2024,so TDD must have been finished by then and maybe it was the only known single from Mayhem at that time (we don't know when they deicded for Abra or Disease). The song was finished probably at the same time as whole album. Gaga's webpage teased lyrics of Mayhem songs before release and there were also lyrics from TDD. So it seems like it was always meant to be on the album.

not really, cus HMH is only on the physical japanese tour edition of chromatica

TDD has been added to the regular international standard edition on streaming

Was watching a livestream earlier, but not a lot of clips are up yet. Disease was def one where the vocal fatigue was obvious
