It's not just specialised content pages that's the problem, it's the fact that once an artist has had one big hit album, their label weirdly takes a step back when it comes to their promotion with the next release. With their debut/breakout album, they're everywhere, with ads, televised promo slots, interviews, Spotify playlisting on as many genres as possible, radio payola for days. Then the next album comes and it's like, you've made a fanbase, now you're on your own, kid. The change is massive. A good example is Sabrina's new album. Remember how she was inescapable during the Short n Sweet era? With this album released a year later, she's nowhere near as promoted, she only released one song pre-album which didn't get promoted everywhere or do overly well and now this new single hasn't debuted great. The world's all over you one minute, then weirdly go cold on you the next. Artists aren't lasting and labels act accordingly. But I remember when every major artist, no matter how successful they were, were still pushed massively with every album, even though they didn't need promo and their fame meant that music sold itself. But they were a big name, so of course they got top priority for promo. Very different now. That big push seems to be solely reserved for new artists and it's hurting their longevity.

I think she might mean she thinks the Gaga album deserves a little more buzz than it has gotten. Which if thats the case, i agree with
