GAGA and her team fumbled the momentum they had after coachella and copacobana

stop saying that - the chromatica ball tour was as stadium tour, so she would literally just switch venues from the arenas shes in now....

And I stand by what I said.

The CBT was a box stage not a stadium stage.

My entire point you continue to ignore every time is that she has never done a full stadium scaled production.

She has done box stages.

Tickets were a bitch to get, but I’m glad she’s doing this show in arenas. Let’s not pretend stadiums are the best setting for a concert. She did them on the previous tour, I think that’s fair.

I have to agree with this post but in a nicer way  Gaga touring arenas is actually more profitable compared to stadiums most likely... I thought this thread was going into a VIY rant after Copa at first lol (which I would agree with - 1M+ daily streams with zero promo, put it on radio ASAP).

no need to be nice, this user is always complaining about gaga making bad choices

mother, what must i do?

Even if it was a last minute decision, these stadiums are not booked every day In every city.

These stadiums are at max capacity for use every year - the owners ensure it.

What you think are days they could use are days they can't do - usually for 1 of 2 reasons.

The major reason being that the number of events they can hold (especially for Non-American dates) is limited by the local government. For example, Twickenham Stadium in London is limited to around 20 events per year *including* England rugby international games. Anfield in Liverpool is limited to 6 events in June outside of the football season.

The other reason being is that the stadiums are used primarily as sporting venues, with many having natural pitches. These take time to refresh and refurbish after the summer which means that there needs to be a sufficient break between the last non-sporting event and the first sporting event.

So it is very very easy for these venues to be booked up and be booked up quickly.

I don't want stadiums because of numbers. I want it for efficiency and ease on her body. She is doing 6 shows at MSG when she could be doing 2-3. This tour is going on longer than it needs to, she is performing more than she needs to. That's less time for her, less time to plan new projects, less time to start a family, less time to spend with family, and more strenuous on the body and voice.

I think Gaga knows what's best for her health, day to day activities, and future plans. There's no need to infantilize a 39 year old woman. She seems to be managing pretty well so far, considering she's essentially been on the road with this show since April.

girl its gaga the monster ball was 202 shows, she could easily do 75 stadium tour dates and spread them out over a year. if post malone and chris brown can do stadiums, gaga easiky could do stadiums.

Did you ever consider that maybe she just doesn't want to.

No amount of complaining will change anything about this era :laughga:

Also, sorry but I think some of you overestimate VIY's performance. Fans got hyped as **** and the song rose, which is great, but it clearly didn’t stick.  No MV would've helped the song lol.

Similar thing with HBDUWM. It got sent to radios in some countries but the streaming numbers weren’t rising significantly.

I agree and disagree... It would've been great to see her tour in stadiums but when they made the decision to actually tour this year it was too late for booking them... It being in arenas and pulling those numbers is very impressive.

What I really think they fumbled is keeping the era going. They should've had 2 or 3 extra videos shot to keep the era going. If she physically can, I think it might be better for her to shot videos back to back :oprah: and they would've had some things in the vault ready to be released strategically

The venue choices are not where they dropped the ball.  The show is still fabulous and can be better enjoyed by the fans. I believe stadiums should be for one-off major concerts.  Not full tours.  Where the ball was dropped was just overall single releases/ promotion.  Now she’s dropping a random song for Wednesday that’s not even on the damn album when you have Zombieboy BEGGING to be released for Wednesday/Halloween.  It’s mind-boggling really.
