Does it come across natural at all? To someone who definitely does not speak the language she sounds very good I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. I’m from Belgium and I speak French. I would say that she does have an accent but it’s very cute haha ! I guess some sounds are harder for her to pronounce. In this video, she doesn’t sound that natural to me because you can clearly tell she’s reading what she has to say. But at the Olympics, I had almost no problem understanding what she was saying ! At the begining of her career, I remember being so impressed with her French, sometimes she seemed to be trying to gather her thoughts and find some words before speaking but you could tell she knew enough French to hold a basic conversation ! I wonder if she can still talk like that… I feel like, in the last ~5-7 years, we haven’t heard her talk a lot of French without it being rehearsed or having a prompt.
