She is pretty and creepy at the same time, giving a 2009-2010 vibe (hello kitty era) I didn't like how they tried to make it part of Mayhem, though it fits the disco sound. It just feels wrong that first with DWAS and now TDD they just kinda throw it into the original Mayhem when there are more songs there that deserve single and video treatment. She’s pouring her heart and soul into this era, constantly trying to give us everything we’ve been asking for — and somehow it’s still not enough for some people. Not long ago, everyone was upset that there wasn’t a single cover for Abra. She gives us one, and still there are complaints. People were mad because CSTH and KFL weren’t on streaming; she puts them up, and the reaction is “she should have done it earlier.” She works on a side project connected to MAYHEM, and once again it’s criticized as if she’s not doing enough. At some point, some of you really need to step back and find perspective. Just because something isn’t to your personal taste doesn’t mean it’s bad artistically. Gaga was so genuinely excited about TDD, and it’s a strong song — especially compared to so much of what’s out there in the current market. Honestly, we don’t deserve this woman. Guys, let’s be a bit real here. It’s a two side relationship and art is subjective. If something that Gaga and her team put out is not appealing for all of us it doesn’t have to be something personal, we as consumers have our right to like it more or less. As long as it hits for the GP her team will be more than happy and as an artist Gaga has (rightfully so) to freedom to express herself as she pleases. But the melody stuck and when it was finally released, I just fell in love It's catchy, it's dark and funky, with great lyrics, yet fun... It's everything I love about Gaga. I was also underwhelmed by the music video. I wished it had a story, that it was more interesting. But rewatching it a couple of times... God, I love everything about it PG.
