I hate that everyone (including Gagita) are releasing multiple album covers for the same album. It really dilutes the impact. It’s one thing when it’s only ONE alternative artwork and it’s close to the original (like the two BTW covers) but having a different photo from the same shoot but with a different feel? Nah I hate it. The only reason it worked well with TFM’s two different covers was because one was THE FAME-oriented and one was MONSTER-oriented, if that makes sense. But recently with Taylor and Gaga and Cardi and Sabrina and basically every pop act rn doing alternatives that don’t match the initial feeling well as the original (like Cardi’s new album)? Or when they’re just bland outtakes (like TTPD)? Nah leave it in the drafts hunnies.
