Madonna has urged Pope Leo XIV to visit Gaza and bring his "light to the children before it's too late".

The US queen of pop shared her plea on social media, saying the pontiff was "the only one of us who cannot be denied entry."

Her intervention came as the UK, EU, Australia, Canada and Japan issued a statement saying "famine is unfolding in front of our eyes" and urged action to "reverse starvation".

"Most Holy Father, please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it's too late," Madonna posted on Instagram. "As a mother, I cannot bear to watch their suffering.

"The children of the world belong to everyone.

"You are the only one of us who cannot be denied entry."

The pope is part of the problem, not the solution.

I'm still going to give Madonna credit for this because this is an international story that brings attention and shame to Netanyahu.

I mean, "please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it's too late", she has almost 2 years to say something but she said when it's already "too late"

Implying that Israel wouldn't straight up put one between Leo's eyes while calling him an antisemite for saying "hey, maybe don't kill kids" :rip:

Anyway, good for her. Better late than never. Nothing will stop them but the literal least we can do is collectively shame them.

When will other queens of pop :huntyga:

I feel like in the last few months, especially in the west, eyes have opened to the truth about Netanyahu and the more news that piles on, the worse it is for him.

So I give madonna credit and I will give any other big name credit for adding to the pressure.

But I do appreciate the points you're making, they're valid of course.

the fact people still don't understand that the entertainment industry is filled with sionists and that artists like madonna need to be extremely careful to avoid being blackballed by record label execs and branded as "antisemitic" for being anti-genocide is wild. it's already amazing that someone as high-profile as her was able to speak up like she did, but clearly her claiming she's not picking sides is evidence that there are bigger forces at play that most people are just completely blind to.

but also – she really should go with the pope if she's that serious about it imo, expecting him to risk his life without willing to join in feels a bit meh to me. still kudos to her for speaking out.

Why doesn’t Madonna publicly call out Benjamin Netanyahu for committing a genocide? Only he can really stop this madness.

Using the pope to draw attention to the genocide is a very effective way to put pressure on Netanyahu and to draw attention to the fact that he's sick war criminal.  Most of the world sees what happening, and more of the brainwashed are waking upp

Using more explosive words just gives zionists the ammunition they need to turn this back on Madonna.

Could she do more, yes.

But why are criticizing Madonna for doing something while paying a forkload of money to go the Mayhem Ball of someone who is doing nothing?

I mean...we've got people hitting the streets of the US risking their lives and freedom to stand up for what's right but we'll give Madonna a pass for not calling a genocide "a genocide" 'cause she might make less money in the future and people might criticize her? :poot:

I'm personally happy with her statement, I don't expect celebrities to fix the world (they absolutely have a responsibility to use their platforms to take a step in the right direction, as she has), I'm just saying @MaybeKermit and @gumzy3000 aren't really wrong
