Chappell was singing the Subway for a year and everyone heard it completely and it still went number one everywhere haha! I wouldn’t worry about a twenty second leak. With the song featuring in part 2 I guess, and of course Wednesday being huge it’s going to get the best possible promotion! It’s just a shame it’s looking like a midweek release maybe with part 2 starting on a Wednesday again… But hopefully Dead Dance catches on and becomes a Halloween hit!

09/03 release could work but tbh, dropping it on 08/29 with the streams only going up by 09/03 due to it being pushed in the show would be even better for charting.

I don’t see why they couldn’t just release both the episodes and single on the Friday 29th. 

Surely they will get a better audience debut over the weekend and that way Dead Dance gets a full chart week.

What good will come from waiting till Part 2 is out? The song will still potentially serve as a boost for Part 2, even more so if there’s some support for it beforehand. The song is most likely going to be released in September if they don’t want it to compete against Abracadabra for the Grammy submissions. No one outside stan twitter and here knows about the leaks so it’s not like it’s gonna get ruined. 

Stupid Love, Rain On Me, Babylon, Garden of Eden snippets were floating around before they were released and I want to think that way less than 1% of people that get to listen to the final version of those songs even know about the leaks.
