The first 3-4 months of Mayhem were smooth. The rest…everything post Copacabana (and even that on some levels)…well imma keep my mouth shut for now.

With the new people involved it’s just strange that this era is falling into the same mishaps as the ones before. No continuous momentum. Just complete silence after the album drops. Its like no one in the team is interested in world building anymore. 

Did ya’ll know Copacabana had 1.9 BILLION impressions? And no one thought it was absolutely imperative to drop a new song/music video at the show? Absolute madness if you ask me.

Scheduling a show the same night as the VMAs on Gaga’s biggest year after her biggest Music Video dropped? 

Mayhem has been a spectacular era generally speaking, but my marketing major will not let me ignore some very questionable strategic choices that happened here and there. The second half is not living out to what it could’ve been.

Tour > Vmas

I think her team were fine with DWAS and Abracadabra being the long-term singles and personally I was fine with that too.

This era has been a huge blessing for Gaga and fans.
