There was a small malfunction on yesterday's Mayhem Ball show

I caught this while watching a livestream, Its hard to tell because they all played it off quite well, but when you have watched almost every show, you can tell when something is not working as it should.

During Paparazzi, something went wrong with the cape. At around 37:20 you can see it wasnt lifting/floating over the ground as it should, it looks like it was stuck to the floor. At around 38:30 you can see Gaga couldnt reach the end of the catwalk, and she kept looking back to see what was going on, and when the rainbow turns on, you can see that she cant move as gracefully as usual, you can tell she is feeling that the cape is getting tensed up. Then at arouund 39:50, when she is supposed to be pulled back, the cape wasnt moving and she almost stepped on it, she is walking backwards towards it instead of with it, and all the way back she was struggling and looking back at it, which made the way back take a lot longer than usual.

You cant tell on this vid but during the livestream, I could see some staff trying to get it unstuck from under the catwalk.

I know its something small, but this is the kind of thing that could lead to some alterations in the future. If they cant make sure this doesnt happen again, I wouldnt be surprised if the performance gets changed.

And I was also afraid she was going to fall, specally if she stepped on the cape on the way back.. Am I the only one who thinks that is a risky part of the performance anyway? Having to walk backwards while being pulled?

Don't worry, it will still be the same. These things are extremely common, they are 100% ready to fix it in order to keep the show going as planned

I was there. Actually there were a few small malfunctions but nothing major at all. Her cape got stuck under the piano bench at the start of VIY but just yanked it out from under, on beat of course, and handled it like the true professional she is. My buddy has it on video. There was also screen/camera malfunctions during HBDUWM. It was glitching and cut out a few times but it recovered very quickly. I’m sure there are so many more small things that go so unnoticed by us, all the time. They seem to all have a great grasp on how to recover in those moments
