Dunkin also just released an ad with a white dude talking about his genetics. Feels weird. Kinda feels like more nazi rhetoric getting normalized.

And Sydney didn't write the script but with how she treated the family bday party drama and the bath water soap collab? At BEST she's playing into the right wing crowd for a bag. Not great to see.

That was Gavin Casalegno, who allegedley is a Trump supporter.

It's actually terrifying just how much conservative culture has risen in the US. Thankfully we still have strong backlash to it, but it really is depressing. Bad parenting I tell ya. Bigoted parents create bigoted kids, and the cycle continues.

Sure.. only in America people discuss this non sense about race. Literally leaving America and going to any country to take a break is so nice because people are just so ****ing annoying about this ****..

Yeah because no other country in the world, in history has any form of strife or complicated relationship with ethnicity.

The Nazi party and the Holocaust famously took place in America.

The Irish potato famine was a major moment in America.

The collapse of Yugoslavia happened just outside of Seattle.

The invasion of Manchuria happened just off Route 66. The attrocities of Unit 731 were carried out at the Alamo.

Exactly. America is so tiring with this race bullshit.. and they just can’t wait to cancel anybody. Goodness.

Girl shut up lol

We get it. America is annoying. We know. But many of our biggest problems right now ARE based around race, so yeah. We're gonna talk about race. This isn't about cancel culture; it's about literal nazi ideology growing exponentially while we're sliding into fascism.

If you don't want to hear about USA problems then don't hop on threads talking about them. And be sure to smile and wave when they start affecting you.

Some of you seriously need therapy. The paranoia and dramatics are unhinged.

So the joke is that she's the stereotypical archetype of aryan attractiveness and that these are great genes. But the joke isn't that she's the stereotypical archetype of aryan attractiveness and that these are great genes.

Interesting.

No, the joke is that she's a hot, gorgeous woman. This could have been done with a black actress/model instead and kept the same copy.

That’s…just not even remotely true lmao. Look at the riots in the UK over the past year and tell me again that race isn’t an issue in Europe.

So if it had nothing to do with aryan features.

Why was that the first thing you used to justify saying she's hot?

It’s so funny how people always say this about dog whistles when they’re in their subtlest stages, then they come into fruition and everyone who said people who picked up on it were being hysterical are like, “HOW DID WE GET HERE?!”

Y'all were saying the same thing when people said they'd start rounding immigrants up. Now we have a concentration camp in the Florida swamps with more being built and we're shipping random Brown people (including citizens) to a notoriously dangerous prison in El Salvador with no due process.

Y'all are gonna whine about dramatics until gas chambers are available to watch on ppv and it's very cringe to see.

You seriously don’t think they would put a plausibly deniable dog whistle into an ad for the sake of ragebaiting engagement and drawing eyes to the ad? Lol

You seriously don't think a publicly traded company would put a sprinkle of nazi-ism in an ad (that already has one of the most famous young women in the world right now in it) just for the lols and potential social media meltdowns, do you?

Not to mention that prominent white supremacists on Twitter (Kirk, LibsOfTikTok) and much of the MAGAverse have just gone fully mask off attacking POC and saying every brown person should be deported. This is not subtle and it’s honestly wild that people have their heads this far in the sand.

That’s why they gave themselves plausible deniability by making it subtle enough that people would be deemed “hysterical” for insinuating it, while simultaneously drumming up discourse and engagement. For someone who studied marketing, you have a fairly naive view of how viral engagement works lol. If you seriously think a brand this big doesn’t consider every potential angle before green lighting ad copy, I don’t know what to tell you.

... she's not a natural blonde, dear. I thought we knew this. she doesn't even HAVE the aryan features you're talking about.

Busty dyed-blonde women have been the stereotype of commercial hotness in America for a long time - think Britney, think Pam Anderson, think Marilyn Monroe, hell, think Barbie.

I'm saying straight men would look at a mop handle if you put big t!ts and a blonde wig on it. Is this because they think women who are/dye their hair blonde are genetically better? No, it's simply because they think they're hot. It's just that simple.

Jefree Star had a nazi-themed makeup line. H&M dressed their one black model in clothes depicting monkeys. Heinz released a campaign resembling minstrelsy.

A sprinkle of nazism is far from unheard of.
