So shush and let us get excited As long as you dont meltdown if nothing happens, because that has been a problem in this fanbase for years... My advice, at least just wait a few more days and lets see what happens when she finishes going through all the ARTPOP songs, if she moves on to a different album, I would put this speculation to rest tbh. But I trully don't see her doing this before MAYHEM era is over with an extension of the original album with few additional tracks while she is touring. Dead Dance is 100% happening imo. Right. It might not be what we think / hope it is, but no one in their right mind can disagree on the fact this is leading up to something. I swear people have no idea when to get excited, it's crazy. Can't wait for the same people to spiral with the next self-proclaimed Twitter insider. I mean even if she worked on stuff for an ARTPOP sequel, you really see her releasing it while being in the middle of her tour for MAYHEM while she could extend it until Grammy season with new content : music videos, performances, new stuff on tour and so on ? She had all of the material there ready to go and could have easily used it as a palate cleanser in between Mayhem sessions when she was hitting creative blocks. Its a very different situation to creating an entirely new album from scratch in an even shorter time frame than the Harlequin/Mayhem sessions. She very likely has been writing in her spare time. She's an artist, and besides some low points in her health journey in recent years, I'd be really surprised if she's ever stopped writing even mid album cycle. But if she is giving us anything other than a Mayhem Deluxe edition, it won't drop before the tours finished. Because she's not going to integrate a new album era into the Mayhem tour. First, I think you underestimate the amount of work that was put into the making of Harlequin. Second, for ARTPOP Act II to work, it needs to essentially be a rework of old songs we've already heard of. That's the whole point. Never said that I'm just saying she should let MAYHEM having its moment until the tour wrap / era's end with additional content. ARTPOP fans can wait additional months. They literally waited for almost 15 years. I love ARTPOP but I just don't want a sequel taking MAYHEM spot. That's it.
