It's possible that "the lady in red" is like a dark side of herself that's been brewing since the Born This Way era, or even as early as when she called herself and her sister(?) Mistresses of Mayhem in that one post.

A lot of artists allude to concepts in their artistic toolboxes long before they become fully-fleshed out concepts.

I'm only saying this because I've recently become a lyricist and the color purple has become this for me; it started out as a random color reference but now it's a full lore-filled reference to a catastrophic event that changed my outlook on my life.

I hope I'm not taking this thread too seriously, I love lore and world-building in artists' lyrics

This makes me wonder if the "how can I protect something so perfect without evil" scene in the BTW video is related
