Unrelated post but one thing I've noticed with other pop releases is how labels seem to be incompetent in sending some hit singles to radio on time.

Sombr's back to friends peaked on streaming months ago, and while it is still top 5 on global spotify, it took his team way too long to finally service it to radio. It peaked at #1 on US Spotify ages ago but only hit top 10 on the official chart shortly before the xmas takeover. 

Similarly, Chanel by Tyla is popping off right now on streaming, and has been for the past month or so, why has it only got an overall radio audience of 2.03m? Feels like a waste of momentum, especially considering tyla was supposed to launch her next era with songs like 'bliss' and 'Is it' etc, which didn't take off. She finally has another streaming hit on her hands which could start a new album cycle for her and it'll likely plateau on streaming soon and won't progress up the hot 100 the way it should.

Another example is Dracula by tame impala, which was doing well on streaming this past fall, but it never even entered the top 100 on US radio, peaking at #30 on the BB100, when it actually peaked at #9 on US Spotify.

A final example is Where is my husband by RAYE, which came out in september, but has only been charting on US Radio for 32 days. While I appreciate she is independent so there would inevitably be a delay in servicing the song to radio, it still baffles me because the song could be reaching much higher peaks. 

Basically, the point I'm making which has been discussed on here before is that everyone has been complaining about how stagnant the 2025 billboard charts have been, and Billboard have introduced new recurrency rules to help clear the chart - but the problem is Radio, and the charts will remain stagnant with how it is currently weighted in their formula. 2025 had a lot of genuine hits, contrary to belief, but this wasn't reflected in the Billboard top 10 because of how slow and stagnant their radio format is, which really can make or break a song and it's respective chart position.
