This is the result of laziness and lack of support within this fanbase... You see Swifties streaming her music no matter what, even if the music is bad and they say it but they keep streaming, while our fanbase gives up so easily and only complains... And US monsters are the worst, I don't even know how many there are to begin with. They get everything but are the ones who give less support

I think we need to stop this blame narrative... we are not TS fan base they are much bigger. Ive met at least 15 big Taylor Swift fans in real life, for Gaga rn I know maybe 2 or 3 tops

 

Weve seen time and time again that fan favs dont necessairily chart highest. The GP is a big factor. Were not big enough of a base to on our own make a Gaga song a hit

 

This fan base was literally obsessed with Disease ur gonna call that lazy?

 

Accept the fact we need some GP support, simple as that. If the GP doesnt like a song u cant gas light and say its cuz fans were lazy

Swifties are a bigger fanbase and will naturally keep their songs running better than anyone else. And sorry but I’d rather a song flop than to be a mindless streaming farm. It encourages mediocrity when songs aren’t A game.

That too. We might be big enough to make a song a hit on our own if we all listen obsessively but jezz were not 12 years old anymore. Were not gonna listen to a song 50 times a day just to make Gaga chart higher

 

Fans have been excited this era, very much so. No one can say fabs havent been supportive or been streaming. But unless we go absolutely ballistic, were not big enough to make a song a hit without at least some support in general public as well

 

Gaga is still the best perfoming female artist this year from over a decade ago and after Taylor Swifts release will probably be the 2nd most

 

Thats pretty darn good on the grand scheme of things. No one can say fans have been lazy. Thats so much gaslighting and so not true

The fanbase does suck. It's because the gays move from one girl to the next. If she did more GP things, GP collabs, etc. she'd fare much better, even with her pop music. A lot of them also left after Joanne and Chromatica (this stretch of time was 10 years).

A part of the fan base gave up on Disease... They were literally not streaming. I think the points I mentioned are as true as the ones you did

And in this fanbase I saw a lot trashing songs instead of just saying they didn't like them. That's not helpful either, a part of us literally turn their backs on Gaga instead of just giving their opinion ans letting others enjoy what she releases. It happened with Disease, with Harlequin, MAYHEM and most recently The Dead Dance to name a few... and not mentioning Joanne, Chromatica or ARTPOP

What do you mean by have up? The fans in general liked it, so they would have been streaming to it especially since the album wasnt out yet to listen to any other Gaga content

 

If by gave up on it you mean they didnt listen to it non stop, i continue to think that shouldnt ne expected in the first place. Were not 12

Tbh, Swifties are mostly teenage white girls that has passion to this kind of thing. Most Gaga fans are over 40 and have more important things to worry in life.

Well... That too, she writes music for teenagers so it'll always be appealing to that age range and people who like to remember those years. That's part of why she's successful

But I think I didn't explain myself properly in my first comment lol... It was more about the fact that you don't see Swifties trashing her music because they didn't like it. Some say it but they don't take joy from others who liked it. And some in this fanbase give up as long as they don't see good results. It's a combination of many things but ours seem to be a very fragmented fanbase, with many supporting just when it's convinient. I feel this applies to other social media, the people that are in this forum are more or less in the same page. But we're just a fraction of the fanbase
